Walk with a Doc

Attend a FREE walk and take steps toward a healthier you. Enjoy walking with a local physician who can answer questions about your health at Fresno Madera Medical Society’s Walk with a Doc. Walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can reduce your risk of coronary heart disease, improve your blood pressure and sugar levels, elevate your mood, and reduce your risk of osteoporosis, cancer and diabetes.

Bring your friends and family outdoors to stay healthy and active through a safe and fun activity suitable for all ages. Walk with a Doc takes place every month in both Fresno and Madera.

2017 SCHEDULE

Fresno: Every third Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust (11605 Old Friant Road, Fresno). For directions, call (559) 248-8480 Ext 101.
